Configuring EPOS | Sennheiser Headsets

On this topic

This guide takes you through the steps required to configure your EPOS | Sennheiser headset to work with the 3CX Web Client. Using an EPOS | Sennheiser headset you can start, end, answer, redial or reject calls, manage the volume and mute the microphone. You can find more support info on the EPOS | Sennheiser website.

Download the EPOS | Sennheiser Software

  1. Download for Windows or Mac: EPOS Connect / Sennheiser HeadSetup Pro.
  2. Run the setup to install EPOS Connect / Sennheiser HeadSetup Pro on your PC or Mac.
  3. If you are using the 3CX App for Windows you also need to download and install the 3CXPhone Plugin.
  4. Restart your PC or Mac to apply the configuration changes
  5. Verify that your EPOS | Sennheiser headset is connected and set as the default for audio input and output on:
  • Windows“Control Panel” > “Sound”.

⚠ Important: The integration with EPOS Connect / HeadSetup Pro may not work with the latest versions of Firefox, as these do not accept the security certificate provided by EPOS | Sennheiser. To resolve, see this guide to add an exception in Firefox Certificate Manager.

  • 3CX Browser Extension - Go to “Settings” > “Personalize” > “Use headset integration” and select “Sennheiser”.

Verify that your specific model was detected and displayed. You can now use your EPOS | Sennheiser device to manage calls through the 3CX Web Client.
